WILLACY COUNTY DRAINAGE DISTRICT 1

The District was created by the Texas Legislature in 1969, Acts 1969, 61st Leg., ch. 10, pg 22, effective March 11, 1969. The first meeting of the Board of the Board of Directors [then Supervisors] was held on March 26, 1969. Creation of the District was confirmed by election held on May 24, 1969.
